Presenting Data With Extensible Documents

The Extensible Document Framework integrates OneStream content with Microsoft Office and Text Files. In turn, these documents become known as Extensible Documents. You can create Extensible Documents by selecting the type of document desired, which can be a Microsoft Word Document, Text Editor, Excel spreadsheet, OneStream Spreadsheet, PowerPoint presentation, or a text File. Extensible Documents allow you to display any information you want from OneStream, and because it is integrated with these different products, the data stays current and dynamic. For the purpose of this guide, Extensible Documents will be referenced as XF Docs.
